This workshop will be conducted by Ms. Yamin Ma, author of "Easy Steps to Chinese" series. The aim of the workshop is to share her views and practice on how to effectively teach Chinese in terms of vocabulary, grammar and related topics in the classroom. Given the challenge of how to engage students with diverse

learning needs and various teaching methodologies, Ms. Ma strongly believes that the right pedagogy employed by the teacher will help students foster a positive attitude towards learning and thus make steady progress in Chinese. Sample lessons will be provided and the participants will be given an opportunity to have hands-on practice. At the end of the workshop, Ms. Ma will answer the questions based on her rich experiences of teaching Chinese in an international context for over 20 years.
