VIRTUAL LECTURE Supporting Learner Progression Towards Independence by Matt Coss
It is language teachers’ task to help learners become independent users of the target language. In this session, we will focus on two key elements of this important work: scaffolding and differentiation. Specifically, we will engage with multiple strategies to increase and decrease support for learners as they make progress towards independence at different levels of proficiency, for individual learners, groups of learners and whole classes at a time.
